                                    MY FATHER IS MY HERO

Mothers are remembered the most but fathers ……… no way less. To every child, be a boy or girls, their father is the FIRST HERO. To celebrate the greatness of fathers every year, June 3^rd Sunday is finely remembered as Father’s Day.

A competition was conducted at Mahatma, kk nagar on 16/6/2017 by Tanishq, in which students were asked to write about their hero “MY FATHER IS MY HERO”.  250 students participated in the competition and we are proud to honour the prize winners.

                                         WORLD YOGA DAY

The word “YOGA” essentially means, “that which brings you to reality”. Literally, it means “union.” Union means it brings you to the ultimate reality, where individual manifestations of  life are surface bubbles in the process of creation. The earliest mention of the contemplative tradition is found in the oldest surviving literature Rig Veda, in Nasadiya Sukta. International Day of Yoga is celebrated annually on 21 June since its inception in 2015.

In an endeavour to Participate actively in the International Yoga Day Mahatma school, kk nagar had organized fruitful yoga session on Thursday 22 June 2017.  Where the students were educated on the importance of Yoga. They were explained that yoga helps in  maintaining not only physical and mental health but also a healthy social life.

SSGC INDUCTION AND SCHOOL CLUBS INAUGURATION                                              (2017-2018)

Mahatma school kk nagar had the inauguration of various clubs and induction of SSGC members on wedneday 21 June.

Mrs. Priyadarshini karthik was the chief Guest, We had a crisp set of programmes staged. The chief guest addressed the gathering.

     34th Annual Awards Ceremony

           It is the right time to pause, ponder and present awards. Yes, it was the Annual Awards Ceremony in Mahatma Montessori Matriculation Higher Secondary School, K.K.Nagar, on Saturday 17th of June. Ms.Lakshmi, our alumnus was the Chief Guest and we had a smooth function. Many of our students went home with a beaming face and with trophies and books in their hands. It motivated the other students also to achieve in future. Mahatma is proud to have teachers working in the Institution for 30, 20 and 10 long years. They were also duly awarded.
