INDEPENDENCE DAY

Mahatma celebrated Independence day on 15.08.2017. In this event, UKG kids were chief Guest. The function started with flag hoisting kids hoisted the flag followed by Tamil thai vazhthu, speech on education empowerment by Ms. Nivethitha and Ms. Hema, patriotic songs, group discussion, momento to chief guests, prize distribution for the winners of the competition held for parents, vote of thanks and Nation Anthem.

Mahatma celebrated Independence day for 15 days from 01.08.2017 to 15.08.2017 as a part of celebration students enrolled themselves into the fragrance of patriotism. Everyday students enriched their patriotism through role play of nation leaders, speeches, singing patriotic songs, dance, villupattu, group discussion, drama and so. Parent workshops and competitions were also held.

 WALK FOR VALUES

As a part of independence day celebration, our mahatmites of  VI and VII students did walk for values along with their parents on 12\08\2017 (Saturday). The children were singing patriotic songs by holding placards in their hands with some values such as peace, zeal, caring, grace, pure and so on. Some dressed up like national leaders and had a walk around the school.
