WORLD YOGA DAY
The
word “YOGA” essentially means, “that which brings you to reality”. Literally,
it means “union.” Union means it brings you to the ultimate reality, where
individual manifestations of life are
surface bubbles in the process of creation. The earliest mention of the contemplative tradition is found in the oldest surviving literature Rig Veda, in Nasadiya Sukta. International Day of Yoga is celebrated annually on 21 June since its inception in
2015.
In an endeavour to Participate actively in the International Yoga Day Mahatma school, kk nagar had organized fruitful yoga session on Thursday 22 June 2017. Where the students were educated on the importance of Yoga. They were explained that yoga helps in maintaining not only physical and mental health but also a healthy social life.
