Workshop on Organic Farming @ Alagar Kovil

VIIth grade Students of Mahatma visited Alagar Kovil Campus to know about the Organic Farming Methods. Mr. Elango gave the details about the Preparation of "Panchakavya", "Vermicompost", "Natural pesticide" and "Soil Management".

                                                Mahatma's Diwali                                                       
       
Diwali is a festival celebrated in India by the houses are decorated with clay diyas and beautiful rangolis in front of the house. This year diwali is celebrated on October 29th in South India and October 30th in North India. Diwali marks the get together of families, elaborate feasts with sweets, bursting of colorful crackers and so on. It's a fun filled day, so lets make the diwali even more joyful by sending diwali wishes to kith and kin. Let the light of joy bring happiness to all families.

            Mahatma celebrates safe Diwali and green Diwali.

Diwali celebration at K.K. Nagar with National federation of blinds from Perungudi, for the past 28 years they are receiving new clothes, breakfast and sweets for 50 inmates( 25 men and 25 women).

Mahatma's Navaratri Celebration

Navaratri is one of the most significant and awaited Hindu festival. The Zeal and excitement of the festival is evident all over India way before the actual festival starts. Navratri celebrations in India are grand and everyone wants to be a part of them. Mahatma celebrated it grandly for about a week.







Mahatma never celebrates any festival for name sake. We had Skits, Dances, Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, Role Play, Live Golu etc., In addition to this, everyday children tasted different varieties of sundal, marking the theme of the year, 
                              " YEAR OF PULSES"......
