TREE PLANTING CAMPAIGN

 "SOMEONE IS SITTING IN THE SHADE TODAY BECAUSE SOMEONE PLANTED A TREE A LONG TIME AGO"

                     The best asset you can leave for the next generation is trees and the shade it gives. To uphold this our children planted few saplings at the Vilangudi park and made the life of the earth a little longer.

 

CLUB INAUGURATION AND SSGC INDUCTION

                     Mahatma is unique and it is proved off and on. Along with the usual clubs to bring out the literary and artistic skills, we have clubs like Kalam Dream club.

                        The Inauguration of clubs was held on 19th June by 8 a.m. Ms.Mithra K.G Coordinator of Mahatma schools was our Chief Guest. School Governing Council was inducted and the elected leaders were introduced. They took an oath to support the school authorities in the smooth functioning of the events. The Chief Guest gave a speech insisting on the importance of students participation in all the club activities and advised the SSGC members to discharge their duties to the fullest. We had a brief session of variety entertainment. There were a song and a dance. A Tamil skit based on "கல்யானைக்கு கரும்பு கொடுத்தல்" episode was also presented. 

AWARDS CEREMONY

                       The new academic year begins with the mega event – 36^th Senior Annual Awards ceremony. It was held in School premises on Thursday 13^th June 2019. The Chief Guest was Prof. Ramanujam Nedumaran, a motivational speaker in English and Tamil. Annual Report comprising of the academic achievements of the students was presented by the Principal and Vice Principal. The Chief Guest distributed the awards to teachers who served for 30, 20, and 10 years. He also presented sponsor and school awards to the students who were toppers in Board exams and school annual exams.
