ORIENTATION PROGRAMME

Right at the beginning of each academic year we hold Orientation Programme. It was held this year also, for classes from KG TO XII on different days. We invite guest speakers on the occasion. Parents are invited and the Guest Speakers render speech. The Guest speaker gives some tips to parents on how to support and guide their wards. The senior Principal furnishes details about the rules and regulations of the school. The parents are offered tea with biscuits.

 

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

21st June is now observed as International Yoga Day. This year the students were asked to bring yoga mats. Students of classes VII to XII assembled on the ground on 21st June morning. Dr. Shyamala, the Master trainer in Sai Institution, East Godavari District was the Chief Guest. Ms. Nagalakshmi and Ms. Brahma Rama, the Academic Coordinators were also invited to participate in the programme. Dr. Shyamala spoke to the gathering about the importance of yoga and meditation. Three students were on the stage to demonstrate certain simple yoga asanas. All the other students followed suit. The yoga teacher of our school made all the other students also to do yoga in their own areas.

SSGC INDUCTION AND SCHOOL CLUBS INAUGURATION (2018-19)

Inauguration of various clubs of Mahatma and the Induction of the SSGC for this Academic year was done on 25.06.2018. 

Ms. Jannet the coordinator of English, incharge of clubs activities from Mahatma CBSE School, Akkama building was the Guest who inaugurated the clubs. As usual after the prayer song the introduction of President and secretaries of clubs and SSGC members was done, followed by their Oath taking. Then we had a few items like songs, dance, discussion on GREEN WAY EXPRESS HIGHWAYS and Tamil Skit. The Chief guest addressed the gathering.
