Art Expo & Carnival in Mahatma @ K.K.Nagar
Creativity was at its pinnacle.  It has to be so because it is Art exhibition in Mahatma schools. It is named as Kala Sandesam this year. It was inaugurated by  Dr. Hasanthika Veer and Mrs. V. Anusha.  UNO declared the year 2016 as ‘Year of Pulses’ and ‘Year of Organic Farming’ .  Along with these themes, ‘Year of Grama Seva’ was also taken up as theme.  The Research and Development cell planned all the activities throughout the year.  The themes were integrated with all the subjects and the year was buzzing with activities a cross section of which was displayed as presentation, right from LKG to std IX.  The campus throbbed with liveliness, as a carnival is also organised in which a wide variety of things are sold, games are held.  The profit is used to build toilet for school in rural areas.  Creative spirit is nurtured because children are able to see art in everything.  ‘Colour, Colour everywhere; Not a drop of paint is misused’.  When we go around, all our senses are satiated and we are impressed by the
scintillating ideas like ‘Pulses give pulse’.  Yes, they do.
Children are versatile in their imagination and we could find colours
dancing around us.  The imposing 6 feet model of Radha and Krishna stuns anybody.  Anything and everything is used as material but only thing is one can’t guess the material.  Has your child pulled out a thread from a sock by mistake?  Need not worry.  You can make it a fluffy doll.  Art from waste was at its best.
